Programs

Classes at the Hurley Nursery SchoolOur programs are designed to provide children with balanced but varied experiences based on the concept of "learning by doing". Each well-planned day provides active and quiet play. The children are given opportunities to learn using blocks, paints, puzzles, books, clay, water, climbing apparatus and small manipulative toys. Classroom activities contribute to the development of skills in reading, art, math, social studies, science, music and drama. Outdoor play, field trips, and sound nutrition are also part of our program. We adhere to New York State law prohibiting teachers from administering any medications.
